2115018277| |rer_tutorial_ecosystem_body|Your recent killing of a creature has indirectly changed the surrounding ecosystem. RER simulates a food chain which changes the creatures you encounter. Whenever you kill creatures, the ecosystem changes. And if you continue to kill, new species can turn up and some can even migrate to other regions. You can examine the ecosystem using the Ecosystem Analysis keybind which can tell you useful info about the creatures and their habitats. This keybind is not set up by default, so if you would like to use it refer to the in depth installation guide.

If you do not like this feature you can change its effects or disable it altogether in the Ecosystem menu.

2115018279| |rer_tutorial_noticeboard_event_body|You have picked a contract notice from the mod Random Encounters Reworked. When you close the window, you will see dialogue options to select the difficulty of the contract, as well as information about the noticeboard. These rewards vary per noticeboard and region, but stay the same for the entire playthrough.

2115018279| |rer_tutorial_noticeboard_event_body|You picked a contract notice from the mod Random Encounters Reworked. After leaving the noticeboard, you will get a list of randomly generated contracts to pick from, as well as an option to select the difficulty of said contracts.

Contracts are split in two categories which you can see from the color of the listing, the rarer ones that reward you with crowns are written in yellow highlighted text while the other ones are written in plain white text.
Upon completing a contract you get an increase in reputation based on the targets and difficulty of the encounters. A higher reputation grants you access to tougher creatures to hunt but also increases your chances of getting Crowns from the contracts.

You can adjust the amount of crowns you get from contracts in the Rewards / Crowns settings.

These do not serve any purpose outside of being sold for coin, but who you sell them to does matter if you wish to maximise profit.

If you do not like the rewards and wish to change them, then you can do so in the Rewards System menu.
