Decryption Keys

Hi, I understand the decryption keys (Key.vdf) are themselves encrypted, why is that?
I would like to download and use the manifests myself without the app, is that possible?
EDIT: I can also pay for that privilege

Because in China many smugglers stole those keys and resell them to make a profit.
Even including the maintainer of this repo himself, see #75 (comment) and #75 (comment) where he claims CNY 58 for an activation code of his "unlock" software. Checking his website, now the price even raised to CNY 88.

How sarcastic, people selling and buying license codes of a software, whose only function is to steal other developers' software licenses. 🤣
