Seems with this update (using F-Droid build, if that helps) I have lost all but the settings cog and the mLauncher Icon custom button from the row of shortcut buttons, and this difference persists with at least one full reinstall. I've attached a screenshot. I cannot for the life of me find anywhere in the settings any options to show or hide the shortcuts. I was frustrated that I could set my own choice of browser and gallery app but not any SMS app other than the [IMHO garbage] AOSP stock Messaging app; now, heh, I can't set anything other than the mLauncher icon button. Hope that restriction on SMS app shortcut will change too—in that regard, it was unusual among the other Home Buttons...and to use a Flynnism, it was "messin' with my Zen thing, man". Also, some of the swipe gestures seem to sometimes do strange things, like switch to the stock launcher. Can't reliably quantify this for y'all, but it's worth giving a looksee. I'll keep an eye on it, too. Also...changing values for text sizes or colors in the options on a given launcher settings page (e.g. Features, Look & Feel, etc) only updates on the page after backing out to the main launcher settings splash page and going back in. Seems to be the same for every launcher settings page. That's different from the previous version, and it befuddled me today when toying with my layout (new user nervously scratches neck). I hope all this helps. |
