Cannot add access key due to unresolved hostname

Describe the bug

After the automatic update of Outline Client, all profiles (about ten) disappeared from it and cannot be added again because the keys (format ss://Y2hhY2h…) are not recognized by the application as correct.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the Outline Client 1.16.1 (487370)
2. Click at + or Add server
3. Paste ss://-key.

What did you expect to happen?

The Confirm button is unlocked.

Hi @Korb , could you please share the key you're using? We'd like to troubleshoot the issue.

When you send it, you can replace your server's credentials with ss://Y2hhY2hhMjAtaWV0Zi1wb2x5MTMwNTpleGFtcGxl@outline-server.example.com:8888. However, please include any other components you might be using, especially the URL escapes (i.e. %00%C2) you are using in your key.

It looks like the access key is invalid because your server hostname cannot be resolved.

This happens because we can't get your server's IP from its hostname. If you were to run Outline (C:\Program Files (x86)\Outline\Outline.exe) from PowerShell, you would see an error similar to this:

lookup outline-server.example.com on 127.0.0.53:53: no such host

For now, on Windows and Linux, we check ahead of time to see if the hostname can be resolved. To successfully add your access key, please ensure that you are using a server hostname that can be resolved by your DNS, or you can use an IP address instead.

For example, the following key works:

The same keys (from VPN Generator) on the same computer are added and work in AmneziaVPN (and are added and do not work in Hiddify). At the same time, the Use AmneziaDNS setting is disabled in AmneziaVPN.
