Use IERS FTP Server?

Hi - just curious if you're aware that the EOP are also available via an FTP server that, among other things, has medatdata associated with it concerning last upload date, etc:

ftp://ftp.iers.org/products/eop/

and metadata for the "standard, rapid" data set:

ftp://ftp.iers.org/products/eop/rapid/standard/metadata/

I figure this might be a slightly cleaner approach than the URL you're currently using. Also since as of this posting, the usual URL is down.
