found this on Forge, so is this ready to play, or do i have to place this modpack folder into the already existing E2E pack?

Its ready to play!
No special preparations required - just install and play, just like you did with E2E.

i just read on the your front page on this pack, that i had to make a new instance. So this isn't necessary anymore? :)

You need to create new instance, yes.
