Another source listing?

Another thing I was curious about that was looking thorough JOSS-II stuff during my time off from school on Google Scholar and this appeared as a citation:

"JOSS PDP-6 system computer programs : JOSS Monitor, J Interpreter, A Arithmetic, CX Distributor, D Disc Service, M Disc Maintenance, TAPE Routines"

It appears to be at University of Southern California in their library according to WorldCat, but I don't know if I can access this. I don't know if it's the same as JOSS: User Scheduling and Resource Allocation since that appears in the search.

But, it sounds like a source listing according to WorldCat. It says, "Computer programmed prints "August 1966.""

Thanks! Yeah, it looks like they have the RAND archives from the 1950s-90s. It looks like it requires contact and a physical visit to access them like I was suspecting. Something I may be able to arrange. I hope. It might become a summer thing.

And I just saw this! Sorry! I've been extremely busy with other things.

I don't have the time to do an archive dive down in Los Angeles, ATM. I thought I would have time over the summer but that looks like it won't be possible. I'm trying to finish my college education.

@PashPaw has your situation changed such that you have opportunity to go there IRL and talk to them to see if this can be scanned/photographed/etc?

@sebras It's a two-hour trip from where I live. I would feel more comfortable contacting RAND and get vetted before I can get an appointment.

The supervisor is classified as distribution unlimited and that means that it's supposed to be available to the general public. I suppose the listings at USC are, too. However, documents may not be digitized.
