Is this server software based at all on decompiled Minecraft server code or was it written completely from scratch? I understand that it's written in Rust unlike the server which is written in Java, but is the code based at all on code from the original MC server?

Completely redeveloped using Rust.As far as I know,almost all third-party language servers are redeveloped.

Hey @BirdRoad1. We often use the Vanilla code as a reference but we usually don't convert the Code 1:1 Rust except if its really needed like in calculation Math things which need to be 1:1 the same as for example the Chunk generation
