Streamline the batch processing workflow (rethinking Collections) #451
Description
Capturing some feedback here for discussion & design.
- Would prefer not to need to make a collection before batch processing
- Consider quick actions for processing all of a night, all of a deployment, etc
- "Collections" might be a helpful term for another data type, such as a collection of notable occurrences.
- SourceImageCollections may be necessary behind-the-scenes but doesn't need to be exposed to the user.
- Want to start a continuous "Watch job" to automatically process new images that are added.
- Naturalis uses the term "Query" on a "Dataset" in their platform for what we use Collection for now (a sampling method)
