Gains and effect params

Im trying to understand what are the gains and the effect params, like there’s dampening effect param and also there ate dampening gain, can someone explain what are all the gains and effect params?

And another question, there are X axis and Y axis [0] and [1], im using only one steering wheel and how do i know that my steering wheel is [0] or [1]

The standard for wheels is to use the X axis ( axis[0] ) for the steering. The Y axis is used by some companies to map the throttle input to. You can easily map the throttle to a rotation axis, Rx, Ry, Rz and map it in your game as you want.
