Description
The remove feature just deleted the entirety of my downloads. all of my downloads are gone.
Question
why does the remove feature work like that? when i downloaded it and installed it into my downloads folder, i forgot to put it into one folder so the folders of the jdk were all in my downloads. i clicked the installer again and it gave me three options, i chose remove cause i wanted to install it again this time with yknow... all the folders of the jdk actually being in one folder in my downloads folder cause i dont want to put it on my programs folder. waited for the remove to be finished and when i installed it again, i found that my downloads are now completely gone. i had word documents and pdf files as well as pptx's on there and because i didnt know that the remove feature would delete EVERYTHING inside the folder where you installed it, regardless if it came from the installer or not, all my downloaded files are now gone. im mad but i know it was my mistake so yeah, but still, why does the remove feature not just... remove the folders that were installed by the installer instead of deleting everything inside the folder where the folders where installed?
