Hi Larry,
There are two yes/no settings. One is for Command and Control on/off. The other is for Command and Control to be squelch or Direwolf. They are independent. So if you want Direwolf Command and Control to be on, you do need to choose yes to both as you did. If you can think of a simpler way to do this let me know. Alan |

While using config to set up command and control using touch tones, the dialog has me wondering:
pi@cubesatsim2:~/CubeSatSim $ ./config -d
CubeSatSim v2.0 configuration tool
Change command and control Direwolf state
Radio command and control with Direwolf for DTMF and APRS is OFF so carrier command and control is enabled
Do you want to set command and control with Direwolf for DTMF and APRS to ON (y/n)
y
Command and control Direwolf set to ON
Radio command and control is OFF
Do you want to set command and control to ON (y/n)
y
Command and control set to ON
restarting command and control
Restarting
Broadcast message from root@cubesatsim2 (somewhere) (Fri Jan 31 15:27:03 2025):
Reboot due to config change!
My question: After "Command and control Direwolf set to ON" it prints "Radio command and control is OFF" Does this mean using a simple carrier to advance the mode is OFF? Or is this necessary to have Command and control Direwolf working? I said YES to both just to be sure.
BTW, tone control rocks! The change from say, FSK to BPSK is nearly instantaneous.
