Is it possible to use switch mgmt IPs instead of DNS names

Hello,

is there a way to use the switch management IP addresses for the anta checks instead of the dns name? Problem is that we use Arista AVD to configure the switch and afterwards we do the anta checks in the same pipeline and they fail because the DNS records are missing in your dns server?

Hi @sringhoffer
if I understand correctly you are using ANTA from within AVD.

With the highest probability, ff you add to your inventory ansible_host: x.x.x.x IP for the various devices it should start using the IP address and not the DNS name.

Otherwise can you please share:

• AVD version
• ANTA version
• ansible playbook
• ansible version
