How to extract the matplotlib axis from PlotCollection?

Hey! I am transitioning from arviz - > arviz-plot , so please bear with me with some questions :)

If I am using the matplotlib backend, how do I extract the axis (axes if we have a grid) object from the PlotCollection object?

I could not figure it out from the object itself or in https://arviz-plots.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorials/compose_own_plot.html

We try to cover that in https://arviz-plots.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorials/intro_to_plotcollection.html because it is somewhat common for both users that use batteries included plots and users that generate custom figures and want to do some final tweaks.

The beggining of the page is descriptive about the contents of the attributes and then there are examples. The second example in https://arviz-plots.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorials/intro_to_plotcollection.html#customizing-your-plotcollection shows how to get the matplotlib axes. Overall that page is not very tutorial-like though. It might benefit from a split into explanation and tutorial parts.

It might also benefit from showcasing how to use .get_viz for the same visual element but multiple variations: all instances of that visual (as dataset or dataarray), the subset corresponding to a scalar variable, subset for an nd variable through label based indexing:

# all elements, either dataset, dataarray or matplotlib Axes (if figure had only 1 plot)
pc.get_viz("plot")

# example in the page, intercept is scalar so this is matplotlib Axes
pc.get_viz("plot", "intercept")

# all variables inside "plot" dataset, with those that have team dimension subsetted
pc.get_viz("plot", team="Scotland")

# similar to first example in section linked, Axes for variable atts, Ireland coord
pc.get_viz("plot", "atts", team="Ireland")  

If the automatic calling of .item() is not to your liking you can interact with pc.viz DataTree directly to get xarray-style as idempotent as possible operations.

Let's keep it open and after getting some more feedback decide how to make sure the examples of doing this are both comprehensive enough and easy to find when reading the "into to batteries included plots" or "compose own plot" pages
