Can I have LUT file calibrated for multiple grabbers?

I would like to switch between piccap and UGREEN usb grabber but it seems calibrating one messes up the other. Is there a way other than keeping a backup copy and copying from ssh every time?

you would have to compile using Github Action your own version of the backend for piccap and change the name of lut_lin_tables.3d LUT used for SDR to something else and replace the backend on the TV - then there would be no conflict with the LUT for grabber.

I'm a little confused here. What is "backend for piccap"? Is that part of piccap and it uses LUT on TV before sending to HyperHDR instance via flatbuffers? Or is it part of HyperHDR? In which case it seems just using JSON API to set LUT for flatbuffers should be sufficient?

no, its not part of HyperHDR but it commands changing LUT for piccap. You may find help on openlgtv discord.

alternatively rename USB grabbers LUT and use JSON API to switch it on

ok, nevermind. Custom LUT are for flatbuffers only.
