Hi Recently, even these solutions don't seem to work and the colors are both inverted and also extremely pale (almost to the point that the LED's show just white color permanently, no matter what content is playing). If I toggle global HDR setting to on, then the colors are brighter but still inverted. Is anyone able to point me in the right direction on how to fix this? I know I need to upgrade to RPi5 eventually but I'm trying to delay the job since the current RPi3b is mounted behind a wall mounted 85 inch TV so it will be a complicated job replacing the unit. Thanks in advance |

Hi
this workaround is only for MS2130, still the problem needs to be fixed in the kernel |

Even setting the kernel back to version 6.1.77 doesn't resolve the issue though. The LEDs still show up as all whitish dull colours unless i turn on the HDR global setting, in which case they are bright inverted colours. I've tried rolling back to HyperHDR 20.0.0.0 but this didn't help either, despite the LEDs working fine till about a few weeks ago. It seems like there has been some other update with bookworm more recently that has broken everything again. Will installing Debian Bullseye HyperHDR image help? If so, will there be other issues down the line with having bullseye rather than bookworm? Thanks |

Use their instruction to update kernel to 6.12. If the issue still exists then simply notify RPi on their forum. |

Also make sure that you set brightness/contrast...etc to 0 and restart RPi because the values you entered are wrong. |

Will do, I assume they won't assign much importance to a bug for such an
old device but it's with trying

It would be nice if you gave feedback on the RPI forum regarding this bug:
leaving the system without updates is not very safe.

Hi
If they don't fix this, the problem will remain: #1141 post your feedback on RPi forum https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?p=2281694#p2306667, I guess they assumed the problem fixed auto-magically when they moved the kernel to 6.12.
