Switching from pi3b to pi4b.

I want to use my pi4b to run hyper hdr to fix the kernel bug that makes browns red on pi3b. If I swap the sd card from my pi3b to my pi4b will it work or do I need to do a fresh install?

who knows? users satisfied with the workaround (and the bug still exists without a doubt) stopped reporting this to Raspberry Pi https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?p=2281694#p2306667 so they ignore it and there is no precise analysis of what in the kernel causes this and on which group of devices the problem occurs (is it rather a hardware-independent issue or rather the architecture of the 32bits raspberry pi os)

So does running the 64-bit Bullseye on the Pi3B+ allow HyperHDR v21 to run without that bug? I have a ton of Pi3's to use and less Pi4's. Is the issue only 32-bit systems?
