I could see Fedora in the future as it was the first to support Wayland. Having said that I haven't used fedora in ages, is the community there around Hyprland? Would Omakub make more sense to potentially port over? I suspect some of what is being used here on Arch; is not yet available on Fedora. Arch is the test bed lol Perhaps someone else has a different perspective. I could 100% see Omarchy working on Fedora, in time, there is much to do with Arch still 🚀 P.S. I obviously have a bias; however, give Omarchy a try if you can! You may be surprised and not miss Fedora? |

Hello, I really like what's being shown here on Omarchy . But it's based on Arch Linux (and hence the name!), which I don't use currently .
I would like to see support for Fedora, if not within this project then probably a sister project or fork.
Otherwise, I would be nice to just provide the list of 'minimum packages' required to be installed on a existing system and then a script to just copy all the required config files only.
