I purchased a new ProArt 27" 5K monitor. It was very confusing when I hooked it up to the FW13. Hyprland continues to amaze and confound me. I finally realized that the display on the laptop was still active even in "clam-shell" mode.
long story short:
You need "bindl" hooks to lid up and lid down.
You should also check
/etc/systemd/logind.conf
to ensure there are no conflicting lid event hooks active.Note: I will clean this up when I get a moment. I'm using the new keyboard 199% of the time and it's a bit brutal. 😆
This is also mini-step 1 in tackling the hibernate issue. I'm working on that in the background as well.
