If you're used to retina displays, then 1080 is going to be a very noticeable downgrade. For 14", you need a 2.8K screen to get something equivalent to retina. The Framework 13 has such a screen, but it's not cheap. |

Hi Dhh - I've been binging all your youtube interviews last few days while walking. Thanks again for responding. The manual you provided for Omarchy is perfect starter guide. I'm thinking of buying this actually as I've been researching. ASUS - ROG Zephyrus G14 14" OLED 3K 120Hz Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 9 Looked at the Framework and I don't think I need the modularity of that laptop, atleast for now. Once I buy this need to check how it works on my Display studio. Do I still need to buy the dongle fro 2x scaling or can it be done in the config files? |

My son has a G14! Fantastic laptop. I haven't tried running Linux on it, though. So you'd want to just make sure that things like the wifi module is compatible. But I think it is? You'd want to run 2x on that, which is what Omarchy is configured for out of the box, so nothing to change. |

Apologize for asking questions here. I'm not able to join the discord. I'm going to buy a laptop and so used the MAC retina display. I do have a Studio Display. Right now I want to buy a decent laptop to try out the Arch linux so don't want to spend a lot just yet. I'm looking for a sharp text. Most times i can use my Display monitor. So my question is will 1080p be good enough for my laptop. I will buy only 14 inch monitor. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
