Refresh rate issues on DP and HDMI

Hi , i just installed omarchy and went through the omarchy manual, but in the monitors section and then looked at the hyprland wiki regarding monitors. I have two monitors one connected with DP with 240hz and another connected with HDMi with 144hz.
Even after changing the monitos.conf config with the following lines
` Sony 240Hz
monitor=DP-2,1920x1080@239.88,0x0,1

Samsung 144Hz
monitor=HDMI-A-1,1920x1080@143.88,1920x0,1`

the refresh rate does not seem to change and it is defentley stuck on 60 hz

i also did hyprctl to check available resolution on both monitors but neither of them have their highest refresh rates available
