Do Probe Calibrate Issue

When I do a "probe calibrate", I adjust the height with either a paper or feeler gauge test. Then I save the config. When I go print there is no adhesion to the bed like the nozzle is too high. I don't know if there is something I'm doing wrong.

Also, while it prints, you can move the nozzle up and down in the UI, basically adjust z_offset on the fly. Have you tried this?

The gap is about 1 mm plus. Yes, while its doing the 1st layer I adjust the z-offset. Then save config & restart the print. I have to check the offset every time I use the "Do Probe Calibrate" macro. Other than that, everything works great!

It feels like the printer.cfg is not being written to.

1. Post the bottom of your printer.cfg (#*# <---------------------- SAVE_CONFIG ----------------------> after then line).
2. Adjust z_offset.
3. Save config`
4. Same as step 1.

I've done that many times. I've even reinstall Klipper due to corrupted sdcard. Now , I haven't notice before, Klipper is not controlling the part cooling fan. Its constantly on. Which is an issue for me due to mostly printing with ABS.

I think I figured out the issue to be the accuracy of the proximity sensor. I re-calibrate the probe several times back to back. Save_Config in between each calibration. Each time the nozzle was getting closer by the numbers.
Example. 1st calibration gave a 6.56. When lowering the nozzle down to just scraping the paper the value would be 0.09. 2nd calibration gave a 5.2 (these numbers aren't exact). When lowering the nozzle down to just scraping the paper the value would be 0.02.
Then I test print a 1st layer bed adhesion & it came out almost perfect. Just some slicer adjustments needed.
As far as the part cooling fan, I just unplugged it for now ,while I print with ABS. I will be getting a new board to combat that issue & other limitations with the OEM board.
