METADATA: Metadata taxonomy for FAIR data #7
Description
We must create a metadata taxonomy for the archived datasets, add the metadata to the list of datasets (#13) and use these metadata to make it easy for individuals to find, understand and acquire FAIR COVID-19 data (#8, #9).
Examples:
- Types of values (e.g., cases, testing, hospitalizations)
- Format (e.g., cumulative total, daily values, etc.)
- Time period covered
It should also be possible to link multiple datasets as covering the same data over an extended time period (e.g., if the dataset's name/URL changes but it replaces a previous dataset with similar data) and indicate when the characteristics of the same dataset change over time (e.g., same dataset/URL but the contents of the file change over time).
