With the iso, you must also connect the target vdd. |

Oh I did that as well which got further but it would half connect when I shorted nRST but would fail reading the option bits but the other ST link didn't need any shorting just worked out the box |

I could not get this to work with a genuine V2-ISOL on latest firmware, it would not register the KSGER V2.1 at all, I switched to a V2 clone by Baite and it worked perfectly first time, just something to warn people about
