Firstly, absolutely awesome project--thanks for all your hard efforts! I'm not a python-wiz but I'd love to contribute if I find the opportunity to. Anyway, I have a RekordBox collection of FLAC files that I'd like to attempt to convert to AIFF files en-masse and still maintain all of my analysis data and playlists etc. I'm not worried about having to re-export to all of my external drives, I just need to bulk-update my collection. I'm hoping I can achieve this with pyrekordbox + ffmpeg. I'm hoping that since conversions of lossless formats from one to another maintain the same bitrate and audio data that it shouldn't negatively impact the database record for the track other than needing to update the path and the format. Are there other factors that I'm not aware of that would complicate this? Edit: |

I am sooooo happy to discover that this is indeed possible!! I've gone so far as to build my own tool on top of this one to accomplish it. I think I'll continue adding features to help clean up certain things that are common mistakes in Rekordbox (all of them ones I've made through the years and still end up cleaning up). I hope it's of use to others! https://github.com/jviall/rekordbox-bulk-edit |
