Overview

This technical specification specifies a set of rules that aims at defining the technical requirements for determining, taking into account the EU Member States trusted lists, whether a digital signature is fit for meeting the requirements of EU qualified electronic signatures/seals in the sense of the applicable European legislation, i.e. either Directive 1999/93/EC [i.2] or Regulation (EU) No 910/2014.
