Overview

The goal of this work item is to specify AdES signatures for CBOR data format (CB-AdES hereinafter), built on COSE signatures.
More specifically this work item shall specify:

• A set of CBOR objects offering similar semantics and header parameters as those offered by JAdES signatures.
• The mechanisms for incorporating the aforementioned header parameters as signed / unsigned objects within the CB-AdES digital signatures.
• CB-AdES signatures baseline profiles, offering similar features as those ones offered by JAdES baseline signatures.

Work plan

1. The EC will perform an assessment whether the standard covers all the topics and points outlined in Articles 26 & 36.
