Node setup and Configuration

Anyone could explain more about the node setup for this implementation, the configuration between MCP-server, Wazuh server & Claude desktop, and workflow diagram for this. As I checked the Claude desktop configuration is not initiating connection with my MCP-server, if possible, please share your insights and screenshots of implementation. This Claude desktop needs subscription for integrating with mcp server?

1. Subscription Required?
   No - Works with free Claude Desktop. No subscription needed.
2. Architecture
   Claude Desktop ←→ MCP Server (local) ←→ Wazuh API (remote)
   Communication via stdio (standard input/output)
3. Clone repo and run install.py

2. Configure .env

WAZUH_HOST=your-server.com
WAZUH_USER=api-user
WAZUH_PASS=api-password

3. Edit Claude config if Free Plan / For paid -- check Claude desktop Settings.

Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

Mac/Linux: ~/.config/claude/claude_desktop_config.json

Refer to the docs for detailed info .

If you are facing any specific issue, please let us know. We will look into that.
