Komga will not store non-Komga book progress, but it could proxy the sync to another KOReader Sync server. Server could be configured per user, along with credentials. |

The new KOReader integration is fantastic. It's great to be able to sync my reading position between KOReader on all my devices and Komga. A+++, I love it. I'm now using KOReader for literally all of my reading, comics and books.
The only issue I have is with syncing books I don't keep in Komga. I keep my comics/manga in Komga, but I keep my other books in Calibre/Calibre-web. KOReader only allows you to log into a single sync server at a time, so when I try to sync progress for any books that aren't in my Komga database, I get an error:
Since I can't sync some books with Komga and some with the default Koreader server, I think this issue could be most easily resolved by allowing Komga to store and sync reading locations for books not in its database, just like any other Koreader syncing server. (As I understand it, Koreader sync servers store only MD5 hashes and sync locations.)
