Invincibility Server Glitch

My friends and I are playing on a Server, with other mods, but it seems to be this Immersive Portals creating the glitch;

When we traverse the obsidian block portals upwards into a new dimensions, we become invincible, until we relog. Not sure what is causing it but I did not see it reported anywhere and we're hoping to find a fix

I have an unrelated question. How were you able to set up the server? It says that it's incompatible.

No clue. My friend hosted it. But, we used CurseForge to get the mods in the first place, copied them over to the server, and then played
