Is /javascript/JZZ.js the actual source or is it transpiled from something else?

Just wondering if this was the actual source or if it was transpiled from something else. Would love to lend a hand with some issues, just trying to get the lay of the land.

I primarily work on webapps these days with typescript. As a consumer my immediate needs are using the library in electron/node.js application. So my current itch is having jzz/jazz-midi work smoothly in our setup. I was trying to make sense of JZZ.js and was a bit lost without the syntactic sugar I've gotten used to. If you're at all interested I could probably lend a hand helping modernize the JS side a bit. If you're not interested in full typescript, I could at least help getting it updated to ES6 classes. It just really depends on where you want to set the floor for legacy support.
