USB lag/jitter

I have intermittent USB issues, where some devices start to glitch, especially audio devices you get crackling. With Bluetooth devices suddenly mice/keyboard will become laggy until you unplug and plug the device back in, sometimes this needs to be done several times. Have you had any issues with USB? how did you resolve them?
