No confirmation email

Hi, I created a website with EME installed.
I thoroughly tested it and it has been working properly for the last few days.
Since today's update however, confirmation emails are not initiated and sent.

As you can see: two confirmed bookings but no matching confirmation emails.

A few days before everything worked flawlessly:

I checked all settings, but they seem to be ok:

If I try to resend confirmation mail from an approved booking, nothing happens and the button freezes in 'Please wait' mode:

What could be the problem?

This is a new option:

so try disabling it and see what happens then upon payment. I'll try that here too
If the email resend fails and the button stays grayed out, something wrong happened: check the php error logs.

Hi, downloaded and installed the new release, tested it. Still.
No initiation of confirmation email.

yeah, I released the version that didn't contain the fix (so no changed version in fact). Fixed in 2.5.59 (now released too)

While the now released version fixes it, there was for sure a PHP error:
[04-May-2025 11:54:28 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Undefined constant "EME_MAIL_STATUS_PENDING" in /xxx/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/events-made-easy/eme-rsvp.php:7098

If you would have provided that, I would've found the issue more quickly ...

I'm really sorry, I really checked multiple times. I checked again now, and indeed it shows now. If I could, I would have provided it.

But.. I installed 2.5.59. But now I even can't submit the form. ;-(

ah ... yet another typo. EME_RSVP_STATUS_PLANNED needs to be EME_RSVP_STATUS_PENDING (and before it was EME_MAIL_STATUS_PENDING that needed to be EME_MAIL_STATUS_PLANNED)
I was too fast to release that version ... but again fixed ...

Thanks for the update.
I cleared my website completely. reinstalled WP and started clean, afraid I had broken something. Built it up from scratch, copy paste from staging.
Set EME up from scratch and was still not able to send in the form (I had not seen your update yet ;-).
Completely frustrated with this, I asked ChatGPT for help.

when something is not working, it is an issue (tab "issues" in github). All other questions go in the discussion forum.
