Images or galleries as custom fields?

Hi Franky,

In my case, users add events (so that other people can see an overview of events).

Is there any possibility, that users can add an image gallery to an event as well? (or an image?)

wordpress prevents the use of the image gallery in the frontend, but if you get it to work: the option is there in the Frontend submit to allow image upload.
However, another method is to use a custom field of type "file" to allow upload (or multiple upload, to be set in the field attributes when you define the field). But those uploads arrive in a specific upload folder, not the WP gallery.
