By popular demand a set of "legacy suite" deb packages is now available

Even though support for McStas 2.7.2 and McXtrace 1.7.1 has formally ended, these releases are apparently deeply rooted in the community... So by popular demand I have added a set of "legacy-suite-packages" to allow installation:

mcstas-suite-perl-legacy - A metapackage for McStas + perl tools
mcstas-suite-python-legacy - A metapackage for McStas + python tools
mcxtrace-suite-perl-legacy - A metapackage for McXtrace + perl tools
mcxtrace-suite-python-legacy - A metapackage for McXtrace + python tools

(available for x86_64 and arm64 Linux)

But PLEASE bear in mind that you really should upgrade to 3.5.x instead. Use the wiki!
