Error if stream names are similar

I have a stream for branch-1 and branch-1-a and I'm getting this error:

2016/03/18 22:58:59 cloudwatch: ERROR:%!(EXTRA *errors.errorString=2 streams match group stage-apps1, stream branch-1!)

is it doing some sort of regex?

+1 I'm seeing this too, except with groups, not with streams.
