This was something attempted in v0.2.2 but is now planned for in v0.4.0 or v0.5.0.
The idea is - if you're 10 miles off grid and need to send text - as long as your Mestastic-AI server has internet, you should be able to send short SMS/email via Twilio - or SMTP... and subsequently receive responses via the mesh.
something like: /sendsms 5555555555
or /sendemail blah@blah.com (might add subject parameter, or just have a generic subject to save messaging space.)
Ideally - responses to those SMS or email messages would be routed back to your node through the Meshtastic network via the script.
The message handling is there, and it shouldn't be too difficult to get this feature in the bag.
