Greetings!! Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately... Out of respect for the mesh network, and to prevent nefarious use - and mainly spam... I opted not to implement this. Too much potential for misuse. I do agree - would be great... and could easily be done - but opens a can of ethical worms. Especially when used in places where duty cycles are severely limited. Cheers! |

One thing I'd also like to note is ... If you DM the node for the bot it replies with no slash command if set. You can advertise that it is an AI bot via your long name on the network... This is a less invasive way of letting people know you're there. I can - make a channel that it replies on - other than longfast. - and I will take that into consideration... But longfast should never be hit with AI spam - nor should users as they beacon in. I'm sure you understand why. |

Hello @mr-tbot
Would it be possible to add the option to not require a command (like "/ai")
No one on the mesh knows the bot exists; it would be useful for the AI to introduce itself when it encounters a message from a new node it has never seen before.
Maybe like "Hello and welcome to the mesh, I am "AI", to chat to me use the command /ai when you start a message"
An option to use commands + reply to any message would also be useful.
