This theme was written a long time ago and hasn't been maintained much since apart from minor updates as I was focused on other hobbies during this time. Although I am not abandoning photography, I feel this repository is long overdue for an update. What better than starting a new year with a rewrite 😉

I figured a rewrite is much easier as the Javascript landscape has changed a lot since the inception of this repository and I want to update this repository to use widely used frameworks/libraries, as it makes the new contributors feel at home while submitting features/bug fixes.

The WIP pull request description #127 lists all the things that I currently have in mind, open for new ideas/feature suggestions.
