Is it normal that Netflix does not save the display size when changing episodes?

Netflix reverts to normal format with each new episode launched automatically even though the extension is still in stretch mode.
It doesn't do it on youtube or Prime video.
So I was wondering if it was done on purpose or if there was a problem.

This can be platform related issue. If they remove entire video player and add a new one for new episode, than the UltraWideo cannot know which video player is new one, until fullscreen is closed and then opened again.

I just went on Netflix and I see no problems. I click on next episode in full-screen and it persist the video mode that I chose.

1. Try removing other extensions that work in similar fashion
2. Try another browser

I am on macOS (latest) and Chrome (latest).

I misspoke, it's probably not about adding new episodes but just wanting to go to the next episode of a series.

When I click on the next episode of a series the forma is reset by default, I have to echap and put in full screen again so that the mode is taken into account

I disabled all the extensions I had, tried on Firefox and the same thing happened.

On windows 10 Professional 22H2 and latest version of chrome.

Yes, I understood your correctly the first time.
Either waiting for next ep. to play automatically or skipping and going manually to next one from their player... Both cases are working just fine for me.

That's precisely what it is.
It's not a big deal, it's annoying but it won't kill me.
