Double click to open does not work on Mac

Matt Brown sent a 1.3.0 file. When double clicking this on a Mac (using 1.4.0) the OpenStudio application launches and initially shows the model. However, after dismissing the "Model Updated from 1.3.0 to 1.4.0" dialog the app refreshes and an empty model is displayed. This appears to happen if the model is already up to date as well.

This does not happen on Windows, it also does not happen on Mac if you go to File->Open.

For me, the file opens fine, but it does ask you if you want to save the initial unmodified empty workspace. Pretty obnoxious

Confirmed, this is still an issue. However, instead of showing an empty model, the main window doesn't appear at all after displaying the "Loading" splash screen.

This bug is still valid w/ the 2.4.1 build I made. If the App is not running you get this behavior. If the App is running the model opens normally.

Confirmed bug still exists in 2.6.0: OpenStudio launches but no model is loaded.

Interestingly enough, when I set it to open with my debug build, model opens fine, I get the "model updated from 2.6.0 to 2.6.2", then a few seconds later, model closes, and an "Untitled" (empty) reloads.

Double clicking on any osm files won't open them unless OpenStudioApp is launched prior. If the app isn't running, double clicking on any existing osm files creates a new "untitled" file and a prompt window asking to save changes even without any made.

To reproduce:

1. Launch OpenStudioApp.app and save mode_0.osm (on desktop);
2. Quit OpenStudioApp. Open (double clicking) model_0.osm from where it was saved;
3. Upon double-clicking to open model_0.osm, a brand new file labeled 'untitled' pops up instead with a prompt window saying that the document has been modified (no modification has been made at this point) and ask wether to save changes or not;
4. About 12 secs later all fields come alive but save changes prompt window persists;
5. If select "Don't save" or "Cancel"; file closes; if click "Save" (giving a different name), model_0 (not the newly named file) opens with a new file saved. Or give it the same name (model_0) and replace the existing file. File stays opened;
6. However, close tab button does not work. Will have to quit app;
7. Now relaunch the app and wait for the app to come alive (all fields are greyed out for a few seconds upon launching);
8. A new 'untitled' osm file loads properly. This time without a prompt window asking to save changes that hasn't been made;
9. Close the "untitled" file (without quitting the app) by clicking on any option offered (Don't save, cancel and save, or save). Double click on any existing osm files now works properly;
10. Close tab button also works properly on files.
