Does anyone use AI to program?

as a 13 year-old i can,t really code. But i know a lot about AI. and it works really good. i use ChatGPT. Does anyone else ever thought of programming your watch with AI?

I've toyed a bit with creating apps with AI, one example is the "Chrono Logger" app in the app loader. But mostly I write code without AI assistance at least for now 🙂

It's great that you're thinking of making apps for your watch! You can definitely use AI to help write the apps - but just be aware that it can and will get things wrong so there'll be a bit of trial and error.

If you can find an existing app that is a bit like what you want and work from there with/without AI then that could be a good help though. And definitely start with an example app (_example_... from https://github.com/espruino/BangleApps/tree/master/apps) when trying to put something in the app loader.

We're very happy to help out on this forum if anyone has problems with the code when developing an app, but if you're using AI to write the code and have a question, please let us know and be really specific about what's not working. There have been a few instances where folks have posted random sections of code up or submitted a PR and just said "it's not working, what's wrong?" and it makes it very difficult for us to help if we don't have any background.
