Trouble with ST7567: only middle area displayiing proper graphics

I have Espruino running on a NRF52832 board (originally sold as an NFC updater for video games). Thanks to others' work, everything was working fine until a few days ago. It hung during a BLE connection and when it rebooted the ST7567 (128x64) display is not working as it did: The default contrast (the one I figured out was the best for this display: 0.6) was now too dark. I adjusted it down (to 0.25) but now only the middle 32 rows, the top 16 and bottom 16 are random noise.

The text is a quick script, writing the current 'y' value from 0 to bottom 6 pixels at a time.
Prior to this, I had the entire screen available, no issues. Could I have accidentally written to a program area on the COG? The init code is the same and is initted to start writing at page 0, column 0 as usual.
Any thoughts?

I'm not sure what to suggest - so there wasn't any software change between this happening and not?

Afaik the COG doesn't have any programmable processor on it - perhaps the registers for scan rows could have got changed, but they shouldn't survive a power cycle. Can you take the battery out for a bit (or maybe even just short the 3.3v rail temporarily?) and see if that fixes it.

Unfortunately for me, the only way I can figure out a silly issue is to post it somewhere, then confess my silliness. I do NOT know how, but my g.flip code was only writing pages 2-6. Reloaded your ST7565 module... fixed.
