home screen rotation of TSV

the desktop of the device doesn't go to the landscape mode
can i fix it or this is something wrong with the installation?

I just figured this out; it's not in the instructions:

1. Long press the Lineage desktop to go into desktop edit mode.
2. Tap "Home Settings".
3. Tap "More".
4. Under "Home screen settings" turn on "Rotation".
