Feature Request

A user would like to create a product with a pay what you want pricing model and assign a meter credits benefit to it. The goal is for the amount the user pays to determine how many credits they receive (e.g., $1 = 10 credits, so if a user pays $16, they get 160 credits). Currently, with the assigned meter on the product, a fixed amount must be set.

Current Limitation:

  • Metered credits require a fixed credit amount for the product.
  • User must create multiple products with different price points to achieve this flexibility.

Requested Enhancement:

  • Enable "pay what you want" pricing for products where credits scale with the payment amount, rather than requiring a fixed price.
  • Only a minimum amount should be required, with credits increasing proportionally to payment.

Why is this needed?

  • Avoids the need to create many products with various price points.
  • Allows for more flexible product offerings.
  • Otherwise, users need to manually track credits.
