[BUG] App crashes immediately on launch - iMac 14,4 (macOS Sequoia 15.5)

Describe the bug
The application crashes immediately upon launch. No user interaction is possible, the window briefly appears and then closes without any error message.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Open the application on an iMac 14,4 running macOS Sequoia 15.5
2. Wait for the application to load
3. Observe the crash
4. Application exits automatically within seconds

Expected behavior
The application should launch normally and remain open, allowing for regular use.

Screenshots
N/A – the application crashes before any usable interface is displayed.

@iiGiovanni just to confirm you aren’t using a nvidia gpu with this. I think a recent macOS update has broken metal with nvidia as it has no longer been supported for a long time

Hi @streetpea, thanks for the quick reply!

To confirm: I’m using the integrated Intel GPU on my iMac 14,4 there is no NVIDIA GPU present in this system.

Also worth noting: version 1.9.5 works without any issues on the same machine and macOS version, so the crash seems to be introduced after that.
