Trust private CA certificate

The linkchecker detects links pointing my company's internal servers as broken although they are not. These servers have a certificate signed by our company's internal CA.

Can I add this CA as trusted somewhere? I'm using the pre-commit hook.

I found out that I can do export NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS=/some/certs/bundle.pem before running markdown-link-check and now it works.

Let me know if there is a better way.
