Grid Default Filter Does not work for DateOnly

Describe the bug
When you set a default grid filter on a column of type DateOnly it filters the grid correctly. However, it does not display the filter date.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '...'
2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error
