Using FileWatcher to monitor application chanages

I would like YamsLocal to pick up any changes to the source application and trigger the update. The change may the an addition of the new file or modification of the existing file which is not the main .exe.
I'm happy to work on required changes myself with some guidance from you.

Hmm, the 'change' check is done in LocalDevelopmentRespository.cs. You could implement a file watcher that sets a flag for CheckAppUpdated to check. The reason I stuck in a 10 second wait for new versions is so that builds would have a chance to finish before we copy over; a file watcher wont really help with that.

Agree that we need to wait for files to finish copying.
Just to clarify something - are you currently triggering update after any file change? I've noticed that when I build my Orleans host application project and the exe itself doesn't change (but referenced assemblies containing actors do) than YamsLocal is not picking up the changes. I don't have AppConfig.json file in my project
