No keybinds for show next tab/prev tab available in the new version

cannot find these binds and a few others in the new update

Indeed, can replicate.
Tried fresh browser profile & installation.

Previously mentioned in another issue that wasn't directly in reference to this by me & a few others - #1706 (comment)

Same here, i think the whole layout in the shortcuts section changed though. Not sure if "navigate back" is the same shortcut

No, sadly not.
That instead functions by if you changed tab, back nav would return you to the previous tab you were on.
Not the same as going forward/backwards relative to the tab you’re on.

Hiya folks. I also agree that this should be a map-able keybind and will be sending this in as a suggestion. In the meantime, I've resorted to using ctrl+pgup/pgdown.

@salamijason please do not close this issue. As previously discussed, this issue is not for a new feature. It is a regression to a previous version (alpha 3) which allowed such a key bind.

I would love to see this issue in the roadmap again as soon as possible.

Alright, i'll try sending it in. But not sure when the dev will be able to look at it since he's more focused on fixing bugs. A while back, the keyboard shortcuts were completely redone from the ground up and less-used keybinds were left to focus on the more common ones.

I don't see it in Navigation settings but for me the shortcut is Cmd+option+leftarrow or rightarrow. I remember changing it back when the setting was there in the navigation , so not sure if i hit the weird edge case somehow

Afaik, these are not included in the above UI since they are hardcoded from FF.
In FF, on macos, I always navigate across the adjacent tabs (cycle through based on tab location/number) using the Cmd+Opt/Alt+LeftArrow and the Cmd+Opt/Alt+RightArrow key combos. The same works in Zen as well, and I haven't found a way to change them - since they are from the "older" era of horizontal tabs. (In the vertical tabs usage, I would like to swap to using up/down arrow keys in those same combos, but haven't found a way to do that)

For now, a hack to achieve custom shortcuts is using fx-autoconfig and creating a user script that kinda works like this;

Really sucks that they haven't included this shortcut back into Zen. This was my favourite shortcut to move across tabs faster. Is there any update on this?
